Est. Napa Valley

A loaf shaped by centuries of craft, a bottle aged by
Napa sunlight

At John Anthony Church Vineyard, we bring together the patient art of winemaking and the warmth of an old-world bakery — each loaf, each vintage a reflection of the land we tend.

Our Heritage

Rooted in the soil of Napa

Vineyard Origins

Our vines stretch across sun-drenched slopes, drawing minerals from the ancient alluvial soils of the Napa Valley floor. Every cluster carries the terroir of this place — the morning fog, the afternoon warmth, the quiet patience of the growing season.

Bakery Tradition

Before dawn, our bakers begin — folding, shaping, and baking loaves using methods passed through generations. Our sourdough starters are older than most memories, and every crust tells a story of time, temperature, and touch.

Cellar Craft

In the cool darkness of our stone cellar, wine ages in French oak — slowly becoming something greater than the sum of its grapes. We intervene as little as possible, trusting the vintage to reveal itself on its own terms.

Our Craft

Patience is our secret ingredient

We don't rush. Our bread ferments slowly. Our wine ages longer than most consider necessary. Every step is guided by an understanding that the best things cannot be hurried — only tended.

I

Source

Organic fruit from our own vines and neighboring Napa farms. Flour milled locally. Water from underground springs.

II

Craft

Hand-folded dough. Hand-harvested grapes. Every product shaped by human touch, never accelerated by machinery.

III

Rest

Bread proofs overnight. Wine rests in barrel until it declares itself ready. Time does what technology cannot.

From our bakery and tasting room directly to you — no middlemen, no compromises, just honest food and wine.
